Gender Reveal Candy Bars

Having a baby? Do you want a simple and sweet way to share the news of your baby’s gender?
Admittedly, this is not my original idea, but I wanted to do a post on it, because it’s budget-friendly and just so stinking cute!
All you need are some Hershey’s bars, paper, tape & permanent markers!

Using a permanent marker, color in the letters on the Hershey’s bar wrappers that will reveal if baby is a boy or girl. “HER” for girl or “HE” for boy (just in case you needed me to clarify that). Measure and cut your paper to wrap around the candy bar. Write a cute little gender reveal question like, “will it be a he or a she?”.
Then wrap your candy bars and seal the paper in place with some tape. Note: be sure your wrapper can be easily removed or slid off without tearing the Hershey’s wrapper.

That’s all there is to it! Super easy and inexpensive enough to give out to even the largest gender reveal party guest list. (My son wanted to give them to his teacher and bus driver to share the news about his baby sister.)
I bet some of you creative minds out there can think of other candies or candy bars to use for a gender reveal or to announce a new baby. Can you think of a way to use Sugar Babies (maybe combined with Sugar Daddy and Sugar Mama candies). Share your ideas in the comments section!

Congratulations on your new baby! Whether a he or a she, may they be as healthy and sweet as can be!!! Big Hershey’s hugs from me and mine to you and yours!

    • Yes! Those candy names work well. My first feeling at reading those was a vintage themed gender reveal party. I think just because the names Ruth and Henry are names with some longevity 🙂
